Treatment
-
I take a thoughtful, personalized approach to prescribing psychiatric medications. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I carefully evaluate your medical history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals to find the most effective, lowest-dose treatment with minimal side effects. For those who prefer alternative or adjunct options, I incorporate holistic interventions, including supplements, nutrition, and stress management techniques, into the treatment plan. I also provide pharmacogenetic testing to determine how your unique genetic makeup affects your response to medications, helping us select the best options for your body.

Mental health is deeply connected to physical health, genetics, and lifestyle factors. I offer advanced diagnostic assessments to identify underlying medical, nutritional, or hormonal imbalances that may be contributing to your mental health symptoms. These include:
✔ Nutritional & Hormonal Deficiency Testing – Identifies deficiencies (such as Vitamin D, B12, iron, and thyroid imbalances) that may impact mood, energy, and cognitive function.
✔ Chronic Illness & Autoimmune Support – Evaluates how conditions like cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic pain impact mental well-being and provides tailored interventions.
✔ Functional Lab Testing – Looks beyond standard labs to assess inflammation, gut health, and metabolic function, factors that can contribute to depression, anxiety, and fatigue.
✔ Genetic Testing & Precision Medicine – Helps determine how your genes influence medication metabolism, allowing for more precise treatment with fewer side effects. -
I integrate therapy and coaching techniques to help patients develop self-awareness, emotional resilience, and practical coping strategies. My approach includes:
✔ Cognitive & Emotional Processing – Helping patients identify negative thought patterns, reframe unhelpful beliefs, and build self-compassion.
✔ Stress & Burnout Recovery – Addressing work-life balance, caregiver fatigue, and high-functioning anxiety for professionals, military families, and individuals managing chronic illnesses.
✔ Cultural & Identity Support – Providing a safe space for first-generation immigrants, multiracial individuals, and those navigating cross-cultural identity challenges. -
